2025 Wars’ Impact on the Australian Population’ – A leaflet by Sarah MARLIER

Sarah Marlier is a Year 12 student in the Australian International Section (SIA) at Laperouse High School in Nouméa. As part of her final exams, she has developed an educational initiative leaflet titled: “2025 Wars’ Impact on the Australian Population”

This project aims to raise awareness about the consequences of war and conflict, with a particular focus Australia and the broader Indo-Pacific region during the World Wars. Through her work, Sarah invites the public to reflect on the shared historical experiences of wartime and their enduring influence on society.

Beyond examining the hardships and disruptions caused by war, her project also highlights how these events have played a role in shaping Australia’s collective identity, fostering a sense of unity, resilience, and national consciousness.
